Air- Fryer Buffalo Chicken Tenders

Make your favorite appetizer at home! So simple and so delicious

Serves :3-4  servings

Ingredients

1 lb. Chicken Tenderloins

1 cup Flour, All Purpose 

2 Eggs, beaten 

1.5 cups Panko Breadcrumbs. 

2 tsp Salt, Kosher 

1 tsp Black Pepper, Fresh Cracked

1 cup Buffalo Style Hot Sauce 

Let’s Get Cooking

  1. Preheat air fryer to 370 degrees. 
  2. Trim and remove the tendon that runs through the chicken tender, set aside.*
  3. Season flour with salt and pepper. 
  4. Using the traditional 3 step breading process, coat the tender in seasoned flour, egg wash, and then breadcrumbs. Push tender into breading to really create a crunchy crust. 
  5. Place tenders in air fryer in single layer, and set timer to 7 minutes *
  6. Remove from fryer after 7 minutes and flip using tongs, the basket will be hot!!
  7. Place back in at 370 for an additional 7 minutes. 
  8. Place hot sauce in the base of a large bowl. Once tenders are cooked removes and toss in the buffalo sauce. 
  9. Place tenders on desired serving platter and top with remaining sauce in bowl. Pairs perfectly with ranch.* 
  10. To create a buffalo chicken salad. Place tenders atop chopped romaine, red onion, quartered grape tomatoes, cheddar cheese, sliced avocado, and ranch.*

Chefs Notes

** You can use chicken breasts and cut them into pieces to create a nugget.  ** I have the POWER XL(big boy) air fryer. If using a smaller model you may have to complete in multiple batches.  **You can eat with blue cheese but…….. #ranchforlife.
